His love for the DR runs deep. Joe returns again and again to its white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant local culture — not just to relax, but to keep his guides accurate as resorts rebrand, policies change, and the destination evolves. He channels that firsthand, up-to-date experience into practical travel guides packed with insider tips on the best all-inclusive resorts, hidden gems, and must-do excursions across the Caribbean's most popular paradise.
Beyond travel, Joe brings a unique perspective shaped by his work in non-profit leadership — including helping to establish an orphanage in Senegal, Africa in 2016, dedicated to rescuing children from extreme poverty and human trafficking. Now based in the Charlotte, NC area with Ana, his wife, and son, he's passionate about helping other families plan meaningful, memorable trips to Punta Cana.
